Lamar Morgan 954-603-7901 | | Clusters is going to become involved in not only helping small businesses become more productive by utilizing mutual collaboration techniques from the netweaving perspective, but the State of California as well. In fact, I wrote Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger about it and got a response today. Here is what the Governor of California had to say:
"Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me on your ideas for increasing state revenue with the help of 'WiFi internet.' I appreciate hearing from my fellow Californians on how we can improve our state.
"California's future success depends upon public leaders who welcome the contributions of the people. Adding your voice to this active and dynamic partnership is vital to the grouth of our great state.
"I applaud your willingness to become involved in teh issues facing California and encourage you to contact the State Legislature with your suggestions and ideas. Contact information for your elected representatives, as well as information on Assembly and State legislation, can be found t the Official California Legislative Information website: www.leginfo.ca.gov.
"Again, thank you for taking the time to write. I value the input of people who care about the future of California.
"Sincerely,
Arnold Schwarzenegger"
This Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. will only be the third meeting of Clusters at the Greenview Restaurant in Hidden Valley Lake. However, it is really nice to know that the Governor of California appreciates the effort that is being made here in Northern California involving online communication with caring people around the world.

Thanks for joining Clusters here on Ryze. Listen, I see from your personal Ryze page that you are in Indianapolis, IN. Just because you are not local to Northern California does not mean you cannot be significantly involved in Clusters. After all, Clusters is not a club with dues, officers, bylaws and articles of incorporation. Clusters is a SIG - a Special Interest Group. It exists to help people who want want help and are willing to help others in the process. That is one of the reasons I decided to include a "virtual mentor" as the fifth member of a four-person cluster. Therefore, there are four people who can physically meet around a card table and a fifth person who can be contacted via the Internet.
Therefore, if you know four people who want to meet and help each other out, you can form your own Cluster right there in Indianapolis. Contact me and I will assign a virtual mentor to your group and include your cluster group in my database. When your Cluster comes up with a project you would like other Clusters in my network to participate, just let me know or check out the online database yourself once it is set up. Might as well keep the system simple so more folks will want to make use of it.
Here are three reasons why I think Cluster groups are important:
1) It is easier to establish healthy relationships with four people than it is with eight or more. Then, use the resources of the small group to connect to other small groups to expand your message in both a cost-effective and positive manner.
2) With energy costs continuing to climb, it is more important than ever before to use the Internet for communication whenever possible...rather than the car, train or plane. Services like Skype, Google Talk, Pamela, Yugma, Talkshoe, Jott, Twitter, Squidoo, Ryze, LinkedIn, MerchantCircle, TeamCircle and Briz, among others, can be a tremendous blessing if used properly. (This is why I advocate having a virtual mentor in every Cluster group - to help folks help themselves. Remember, if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. But, if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.)
3) Mutual collaboration saves folks time and money. If a group of people want to form a Cluster group they need to be willing to mutually collaborate with one another to save everyone time and money.
With my group here in Hidden Valley Lake, CA, I am hoping to convince the owner of a restaurant to purchase a 42" Vizio HDTV and a little ASUS EEE computer, along with a Wi-Fi antenna and Linksys Wi-Fi extenders so my group can converse with marketing gurus from around the world via Skype at weekly meetings.

Lamar Morgan 954-603-7901 | | Kathy,
Do you have a meeting place for your group? If not, I suggest you consider a public library conference room. Those can usually be made available for a very reasonable cost. (A conference room at a hotel is out of the questionj - too high.) Plus, many library conference rooms come equipped with a screen and projector. Therefore, they really do assist the educational process.
Now, if you had just a small "cluster" group of four people, you could get by meeting in a coffee shop that had FREE Wi-Fi with a little help from a Nokia Internet Tablet or regular laptop computer.
