Hey Everyone,

Business networking… Some great questions here, let me know what you think:

Where do you think biz-networking will be in 5 years? What do you want to see? What are the current shortcomings in B2C or B2B networking? What features / functionalities of business related networking could help you the most as a business owner?

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Joe

Joe --

I think the biggest issue for most people is time. Face to face networking is priceless in the connections you can make and the relationships you can build with others. There is no replacement.

But with today's social media options, many new small business owners and entrepreneurs can start their networking online. They can build up good relationships, then meet up with others face to face.

Or they can build relationships with people around the world that they will never meet in person. That's really the beauty of the power of the internet for small business.

One of the best places to start (besides here on MYOB!) is to set up a twitter profile, start following a few people and participating in discussions.
