veeraragavan p | | I am a psu employee. I am denied fair treatment in the matter of promotion and transfer. I need a lawyer to give me legal advise/ fight for me in a court.
I am also fiercely passionate about anti-corruption and transparent administration. My blood boils at the devious ways in which tendering procedure is hijacked. Many employees would rather take care of their carreer rather than stand up for principles. I am different and for that reason suffered heavy penalty.
Till recently only my promotions were lost. Now because of transfer my wife and children also have become colateral casualities.
My latest apprehension is a possible threat from mafia contractors and my employer's insiders-some of them sittting in a position to influence my fate- who are in collousion with such contractors.

I believe you dont need a lawyer with integrity but a lawyer with enough venom to put up a hard fight against the system.. as they say.. poison kills poison.
You can still let me know your doubts without revealing your identity. Maybe i am able to give that one extra input sufficent for you to fight and win a legal battle.

These days we hear about even judges' name being sullied. What to say about lawyer.That is why I insist on integrity, though I don't yet know how to ensure that the lawyer is loyal to me. The cost could be very high, considering the purchasing power of a mighty corporation.
So it is necessary that the lawyer must share my ideology and empathize with me.
I agree with you on Venom point. Yes I need a lawyer with both venom and integrity.

In country where a chief minister’s son is charged with murder and another man who admits under oath that he received bribe of 50 lakhs and he was prosecuted for murdering his own secretary for sharing the booty can become a central cabinet minister and later chief minister of a state, your searching for a lawyer of integrity is looking for a non existent needle in the haystack. My religious head is facing a murder charge. If these men can find a lawyer to help them, your are sure to find one.
As long as the Lords of the religions can grant favors for money ordinary humans can be no better. I had been a lawyer for 3 years.

Lawyers with integrity exist and in large numbers too. You might have been unfortunate to have not come across any of them.
Have faith and be a bit receptive. Remember, while the ultimate result that both target to achieve may be the same, a lawyer thinks diagonally different from a Client. When the Client is "well-read" and without practical knowledge of law and procedure keeps pushing his lawyer, it may bring disastrous results. So, the bottom-line again, have faith and be a bit receptive.
