I would actually suggest you get a Finance Professional involved, maybe as an Out-Sourced CFO, who can actually prepare the foundation of your funding exercise and then either approach Potential Investors yourself or engage with an Investment Banker / Merchant Banker for the purpose. I have done this myself with a degree of success in India and believe a similar model is widely prevalent in the US too. If I can guide you in any way, it would certainly be a pleasure ....
