Marilyn Jenett

I've been too busy to post a lot lately, but I had to stop and tell you about this film...

First, it's a topic that's extremely important and timely.

Second, it has an all-star cast.

Third, the star of the film is one of my favorite all-time actors. No, it's not just because I hired him for a corporate event several years ago (when I hired him he was starring in another blockbuster). It's because the man is so darn multi-talented - an exceptional musical talent who also plays such an amazing range of roles in films - you can't take your eyes off of him (you just have to see him in "Copycat.")

Fourth, he not only stars. He wrote the theme song for this film and you can hear it at the link below.

Fifth, I saw the commercials on Lifetime Movie Channel for this TV movie and I was blown away...

“Living Proof” is the true story of oncologist and researcher Dr. Dennis Slamon, the UCLA doctor who helped develop the breast cancer drug Herceptin, and his effort to keep the drug trials afloat. His inspiring journey shows the sacrifices he makes in his personal life and the obstacles that he faces to get the drug approved. Thousands of lives have been saved because of his dedication. (Based on Robert Bazell’s book “Her-2.”)

So, what are you doing Saturday night at 9pm? (Confirm for your time zone)

Complete scoop and details at the link...
