Making Sponsored Links WorkViews: 393

Sponsored links tend to be expensive. You do a search on Google and you look up in the left-hand corner of the page and there is a "sponsored link." Are these links actually effective in helping to generating revenue for small businesses? Is there a right way as well as a wrong way to utilize them? Of course, you will find sponsored links right here on Ryze as well. Does anyone here have experience here using them and can comment from personal experience - be it positive or negative?

If done right it is positive. You need a decent budget though, unless your needs are very long tail.

Scott,

What do you consider a "decent budget" for a small business to make beneficial use of sponsored links? How much money are we talking about here?
