boss | | This is exactly the question I'd asked sometime back... few didn't understand the meaning of this.
Ryze had been one of the most sought after networks which has collapsed...probably no innovative development was done by the site owners,,, they left all new creations to the user himself.... Private Reply to boss |

Ari Bloch | | The owners of Ryze were pioneers in the field, but did not keep up with the times. There is zero change on the platform, zero innovation (for several years). Basically it's a useless platform, except for us who know it.... (and my network on LinkedIn is much larger and more fruitful than here).

anand sharma | | Whoa Whoa !!! Let us not condemn something so fast...Shall we !!! Ryze is pretty cool...Ok ..I admit sometimes some posts (particularly including mine) do go off into space but still ....Let us not go into overkill here...I do see a good amount of action on the BLR network though the chennai thread seems to have expired a natural death !!!! (Going by the posts and the views) anyways ......(Sic) AnuPrivate Reply to anand sharma |

Suresh KS | | Yes Ari, stagnation has been creeping into Ryze for quite sometime now. Yup, I have been a member of Linkedin too much before I joined Ryze. Like you I too have a really huge network on Linkedin. However I believe there is a huge difference between Linkedin and Ryze. I have said this before, and I will say it again. Ryze has character and is more lively and people centric. By people centric I mean that here on Ryze it goes beyond Business and creates some wonderful relationships. Believe me I have made some real good friends on Ryze, which has never happened on Linkedin. On Linkedin I have met a far more number of people than Ryze but it always remained purely a Business relationship.
As far as real Business happening on Ryze is concerned I agree that there has been a decline. However I would be lying if i said that no Business has happened or I don't find Ryze useful. As Anand said some posts do go off in a completely different tangent. However the same posts would have been ignored on Linkedin and you would have hardly seen any interaction, opinion, rebuttal, agreement, argument or otherwise. But here on Ryze historically the very same posts have had the maximum interactions. The interactions have ranged from arguments, introspection, humor, "arm-chair politics" to some very real intellectual discussions. These are the very same qualities which gives these interactions the "Human touch"! And this "Human touch" is what makes Ryze so special!!
Though me and Anand don't see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, I have to agree with him on this one. Lets not condemn it, instead lets see how we can improve it.Private Reply to Suresh KS |

Manoj Vijayan | | To paraphrase JFK, "Ask not what your social network can do for you, ask what you can do for your social network" :-)
Yes, Ryze has been declining, overtaken by Facebook, LinkedIn and other networks. But that's in the nature of things, isn't it? New blood springs up and old institutions fade away. I hope BBN will be around for a long time to come, though.

sanjay jain | | Ryze is a good platform , the slow death of Ryzers has been responsible for Inactive Ryze,
why Ryzers disassociated & got into FB culture------ buttons of likes & dislikes
since ryze did not had like options the critics were too hostile in expressing their thoughts & fractions appeared on networks

Shobha(usha) gowri | | I am one of the oldest members of Ryze and believe that this network fostered a warmth none of the other networks did for me. I still come back when I need info-interesting I could call say Just Dial. But the personal touch -is here in Ryze. If there is a concern may be time to see how we can keep it going? G
