Jaime Buckley | | Well, I got back the stats from my site and counted the sales receipts from PayPal,...and after I made some changes suggested from this board (and a couple others)--my site visits jumped.
A lot.
Just wanted to share that for July, 2005, I had over 30,000 new people come to the site, and out of that traffic, I gained an additional 1033 new readers for my comics!!
I know thats not New York Best Sellers List---but at $2 a reader so far, that's not too bad either.
If anyone would be willing to visit my site again and make any further suggestions, I sure would appreciate it. The last comments helped a GREAT deal!

I spent a great deal of time on your site last week and I personally think it's great. It has a "soul" to it. It feels alive and is done very professionaly, especially for a comic book site. I've also seen one of the commercials you did and it was great too. Also, you mentioned in another post about the "personal" aspect of your site and how it's increased traffic. I think the personal aspect does indeed take it to the next level.

Jennifer Lavender | | Congratulations on the success! I don't have any more suggestions. Every time I visit your site I am impressed by even the small changes I see, and I have enjoyed your comic. My husband sat down and read issue number 1 for the first time the other night and was laughing the whole time. I definitely need to go back and get the next two for us to enjoy. Jaime Buckley | | Thanks Denise. I'm pretty excited about this as well. It has opened many doors I never would have expected. Locally here in Utah, a fan called in to the local talk radio show and told the host he should have me on the show. Four days later, i was on.
The show was great and within an hour afterwards, I received over 8000 visitors to my web site. They did a huge push for people to come visit me and get my FREE comic book. I had fun, but what's even MORE amazing, was that the Host called me the very next day, at home, and asked me to come on the show again that day! It was a cooking segment, and I shared one of my favorite steak dishes: Sour Cream Steak.
It went over like a great dream, and before I signed off with them for the day, the host pushed my site again, haveing me shout out the address...and within an hour afterwards, had another 6000 visitors.
Insane.
I have audio on my site now---which is helping even more. I just need to change it so people HAVE to give me their email address, and then send them the FREE comic book. Then I'll have a growing email list.

Ilka Flood | | Wow, Jaime, cool website. I will have to tell my son about it. He's 17 and very much in to comics. He also is a great artist and draws them himself. He's a regular at deviantart.com (Hope I spelled this right)
When I visited your Ryze page I noticed that there is no link to your website. You may want to put a link under "Personal" or "Company". I am sure a lot of people who just drop by your page here at Ryze would love to see your website.
