What I mean is if we're bringing the goodies we'll have to meet at someone's house. And if we want to sample someone else's creations...bring on the suggestions. In Mumbai, a good place would be to try out stuff from Celebrations, which sells from Cymroza Art Gallery on Bhulabhai Desai Road. The yummiest, most sumptuous chocolates, gateaux, pastries, etc. Expensive, but worht it... The suggestion is to have light snacks and chocolate based desserts which each person coming for the mixer brings a dish. Need confirmations asap to go ahead with this mixer. Another suggestion to have a chocolate fountain depending on the number of people confiming because to hire it, it cost Rs.2,500/- and should be worth it. However, I am just pointing out that Ryze does not have the facilities (as MeetUp does) to organize events efficiently, and that I cannot guarantee moderating posts according to a set schedule. While I do try to moderate posts within 24 hours there are times when I can't get to them for a week or more. As long as everyone knows that there will be a lag -- and neither blame nor criticize when posts are not moderated -- then I have no problem using the network this way. For my part, I will do a better job of letting everyone know my travel schedule so they can know when there might be a longer than normal time between the time messages are posted and the time they are moderated so you can plan accordingly.
