The Meaning Behind This Symbol and ProsperityViews: 1243
Apr 08, 2006 3:27 amThe Meaning Behind This Symbol and Prosperity#

DR ~
Okay now before you go running away from this post, please let me explain:

This symbol called The Pentagram (or Pentacle by some) was used by the early Christians to represent the 5 basic elements of Spirit, Air, Water, Earth & Fire.

It is not an "evil" nor "satanic" symbol like the orthodox Christian church would have many to believe.

In fact, the Pentagram was used by Pythagoras, a Mathematician who studied the Cosmos and predicted many revelations from the use of astrology & astronomy.

I have been bold enough to come forwatd today and say that I am proud to be a student and teacher of Magick*

Prosperity revolves around MAGIC...spelled MAGICK because of the Alternative use if Metaphysics it entails. There is nothing to be feared about this.

By learning how The Universe functions, which Marilyn has talked about many times, we begin to understand how we can have whatever our heart is focused on.

The Power of Magnetism...The Law of Attraction...

Marilyn's teachings Embody this basic teaching:

The Power of Manifesting What Already IS...IS...IS*

No Past.

No Future.

Only NOW.

So, when we really let down our pre-conceived Mind-Sets about what things "Are"...and really SEE them for what they REALLY ARE, we are Enlightened with the Wisdom of 'God'.

LOVE,
DR

Everything is perception, DR.

When I first saw your symbol, I immediately thought of the "Star of David", which is actually a six-pointed star:

http://scheinerman.net/judaism/rituals/star.html

With a click of my mouse, I discovered that the five-pointed star was known as the "Seal of Solomon":

http://www.nisbett.com/symbols/star-david.htm

Now, if you were able to zoom in closely on the "tie dye princess" in this photo, you would see that she is wearing around her neck, a Star of David in a circle.

David and Solomon were both beloved figures in history. In fact, the name David means "beloved".

Historical question to ponder: Was Marilyn a Jewish princess? :-)

You are absolutely correct Marilyn. Thank you!

Many people frown on the Pentagram. I took a bold stand and posted about it anyway. And I am taking another bold stand by posting this:

Wow! That picture looks so much like my...well maybe I shouldn't say that (smiles).

Okay I will:

It looks sooooo much like my wife when she was younger.
In fact, when I look at it it's like seeing her looking back at me when I was 18 (lol).

To answer your question :)

"Was Marilyn a Jewish princess? :-)"

I am beginning to believe so*

It's nice to have someone here who Sees and is not judgmental*

DR,
I'm very glad that you shared that with us.
I have been thinking for a while that the laws of the universe feel very powerful and magical. I am very interested in reading about MAGICK, and have had similar thoughts about its connection to prosperity.
And Marilyn, thankyou for providing the information about Solomon and David. I am loving the discussions this week.
Have a great weekend!
Alison

I woke up this morning thinking about symbols, as I enter the 53rd year of this life on Earth, and to me birthdays are a symbol of growth and transformation, and I thought I will post something about a symbol of prosperity on my network. Something along the lines of what is your symbol of prosperity? (I have yet to determine that for myself).

As I opened my email program, the first message is about a post on this network about symbol of prosperity. It is so great to be in tune with the Universe and have a Network of like minded people around you to remind you when you are on the right track.

I'm happy to share it Alison. Hi Rasheed*

I have been very active on the forums lately because I know Ryze works if I "work it" effortlessly.

The teachings on The Law of Attraction and how we create subconcious mind barriers that prevent the Effortless flow in our lives has been my favorite.

If we look deeper into the actual Techniques we can use to Allow Prosperity...we are already wealthy and The Universe provides all that we need.

It is an honor to be able to share about Magick and how it has released the Effortless Abundance that Marilyn and Rasheed so graciously share with all of us.

Thank you,
DR

Did you know that the Jewish Sabbath was on a Saturday?

I am half Jewish from my mother's side, and my wife is also half Jewish, half Irish. I don't mesh too well with the Irish part (lol).

The Catholic church changed the original Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and Christians have been using Sunday as The Sabbath ever since.

Food 4 Thought to all Christians:

SATURDAY is the Real SABBATH*

If you look at your calender, you will see that Sunday is the first day of the week. According to the Bible, God rested on the Sabbath...a Saturday, not Sunday.

But does it really matter?

I, for one, happen to Love the band Black Sabbath.

My agent Thomas and I were messing around during our lunch break and decided to sign up for Yahoo music since we are both music fanatics.

I have an account at Yahoo Music now and I can listen to whatever I want, Whenever I want to. It's great!

You can even skip the songs you don't want. It's called

Launchcast Plus*

Don't worry, this is NOT an ad for them (lol). I simply like the fact that I can choose my own radio station and rate the songs I don't like.

Check it out:

There is also a deeper level of awareness behind what we are doing. I see that Marilyn teaches along the same lines as the great Eastern Avatars. This means so much to me because I have always considered my Self to be One.

All things happen in a linage of Fate, meaning that we set up our destiny through thoughts, words and deeds. There is no "chance". Therefore, everyone you meet is a part of you. Please do not neglect or reject this Truth.

Answer to historical question:

No, she wasn't.

That's why she had to apply herself for so many years to acquire a prosperity consciousness.

:-)

P.S.

What does a Jewish princess make for dinner?

Reservations.

LOL

"What does a Jewish princess make for dinner?"

Reservations and Preparations (smiles).

I remember when my mother would invite so many people over for Hanakha (OMG...I probably spelled that wrong. Too early in the morning for me).

For about two weeks she would cook, cook, cook. There would be at least 12 people in the house; Aunts, uncles, grandparents...

I remember eating Greek food. Yes, Greek food. I loved it back then and I still do today. We were Traditional Jews, so their was absolutely no pork.

Anyways, I like your punchline Marilyn.

You will always be a 'Jewish Princess' as far as I'm concerned.

Prosper,

DR likes to change his Ryze photo often, so to clarify for those who may view this thread when his "symbol" does not appear to the left...the symbol is a five-pointed star in a circle - actually a very pretty gold star, nothing ominous.

Thank you for clarifying that Marilyn. I know some people may get confused at the rapid rate that my pictures jump around.

Perhaps I should try leaving just one picture up for let's say ...a day?

Having ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) for fifteen years has been a real challenge. It's not so bad now but you can always tell when it's acting up just by noticing the picture changes (lol).

Thanks again for the clarification. Live Long and Prosper!
