I am planning to undertake a trip to Lakshadweep in the first week of May ie from 3rd to 11th. Will it be a good time to travel??
I would like to visit Kavaratti, minicoy, agatti, bangaram, kalpeni and kadamat. Is it possible to visit all of them without travelling on a ship.
I have been thru various websites and they are somewhat at variance about the islands which can be visited and which are closed to the tourists.
Has anybody been to Bangaram... I find it a bit overpriced so is it worth a visit.
Finally what can be the best itinerary for travel out there and also any help on good travel agencies will be appreciated.

If U really wana do Gud...Nothin stops U just do it!! | | i have been thru star cruises..on kadmat..beautiful island! dont really know how to go there independantly tho...

Minicoy and Kalpeni don't really offer much choice of accommodation....
Darling if you don't want to travel by boat then you can always carry your swimming gear and swim across....

Went to Lakshwadeep in April last year...it was real hot, but beautiful.
I don't know much about other islands, but can share something on Kadmat...that's where I went.
There is a message string, as below, that describes a lot about what you can do @ Lakshwadeep. Do go through it...
