I think yes its has arrived. I am not sure who predicted the year 2007. But yeah i see a lot of companies getting into it either one way or the other.
many so called RPO companies are merely playing the multiple vendors sourcing game and not really into RPO.
My definition of a RPO company is a company who develops business and process understanding of the end to end Recruitment process then migrating it to an offsite or an offshore location and later on running it to achieve the set business objective or ROI/Cost savings/Turn around time/focus on core activites.

I dont hear much happening on RPO as with Other processe's offshoring e.g Sales/Rceovery/Tech troubleshooting etc .Wud love to learn more on RPO from you experts .
My view point is there are many players claiming expertise but have we attained same maturity as in other business domains ,in terms of systems /processes/expertise & technology integrated seamlessly.
is RPO only pre-screening Profiles and email management , or way beyond thru n levels of screening and upto final selction/induction.
