It's been awhile since I've posted anything here, so I thought I'd make my reappearance by asking this general question; been publicly speaking lately?

In the last year I've only had 5 or 6 public events, and half of those were unpaid. I haven't really marketed myself all that much during this time, but that's about to change, as I still have my goal of speaking in every state in the union, and being paid for it. I'm at 10 now, so I have a long way to go.

So, how has it gone for you? Did they all turn out as expected, and if not, were they better or worse, and why?
